2013 Perkins Intent to Participate
The “Perkins IV Career & Technical Education" (Intent to Participate in Perkins) will open March 20th, 2012 and due April 15, 2012. Districts are asked to: 1) indicate if they wish to participate; 2) join a Consortium or act as a Stand-alone (Stand-alone schools must qualify for a minimum of $15,000 from the Federal Perkins Grant); and 3) certify they meet Essential Components. This can be found under the Data Collections tab in the Portal. For information regarding this report, please contact teri.sloup@nebraska.gov. This report must be submitted by the District Administrator.

SPED IDEA Consolidated Contracted Services RRs are now Available
SPED IDEA Consolidated reimbursement requests for contracted services (object code 300) are now available for submission within the Grants Management System. In order to efficiently implement the inclusion of object code 300 reimbursements in the SPED IDEA Consolidated application, reimbursement requests (RR) submitted prior to March 26 – regardless of the object code within that request - have been returned to the district and will need to be resubmitted to NDE; those districts will be contacted individually with further instruction. If you or any of your staff leave a District or a School, it is your responsibility to manage the access of your district personnel to any and all Data Collections, GMS, and Staff and Student Record Systems. The District Administrator needs to review the list of users within their district for the new school year, and remove users as needed.
